GETTING AROUND THE CITY
From the airport to your hotel
Serving all four terminals at Heathrow Airport, the Elizabeth Line will take you straight into the city. Tickets can be purchased at airport station ticket machines, or you can use tap to pay. The journey to London Central takes about 30 minutes, and you have the option to transfer to another line or grab a bus to your final destination.
Riding the buses
Not only are the double-decker buses in London iconic, they’re also very reliable. Use a maps app on your phone to determine which bus you need to take to get to your destination and simply tap to pay on the bus.
Grabbing a taxi
You’re likely to spot several of London’s traditional black taxi cabs when you’re out and about, and if you’re on a time crunch and don’t want to rely on the bus or the Tube, a cab is another option. If the taxi’s light is on, it’s available – simply stick out your hand and wave them down.

Victoria and Albert Museum

Thought to be London’s oldest wine bar, Gordon’s is a great place to split a bottle and a snack before heading over to The National Gallery.
Borough Market
Chances are you’ve seen Borough Market on social media, and for good reason. One of the largest and oldest food markets in London, this place features street food, famous crème brûlée donuts, sausage rolls and much much more.
